Career coaching for wherever you are in your working life

What you can expect

Our conversations will be warm, straightforward and practical. There’s no judgement if you have absolutely no idea what you want to do. There’s no expectation that your career needs to look impressive on paper. And there’s certainly no assumption that everyone should spend their life climbing the same career ladder.

I know what it’s like to make hiring decisions, identify potential, develop talent and look for the person who stands out for the right reasons. That perspective can be particularly valuable when we’re working on how you position yourself, tell your story or prepare for an opportunity.

We'll discuss : Where are you now? What matters to you? What are you good at? What might you be overlooking? And what would make your working life better?

Then we’ll work out what to do about it. Because a good career isn’t just about the job. It’s about the life that job allows you to build.

Starting Out

18-25 year olds

Starting your working life can feel exciting. It can also feel pretty overwhelming.

What should I do next?

University, an apprenticeship or work?

What kind of career would suit me?

How do I get experience when every job seems to want experience?

How do I make myself stand out?

Starting Out gives you someone independent and experienced to work through it with.

You don't need to know what you want to do before we meet. In fact, that's often exactly where we'll start.

I can help you with:

  • Understanding your strengths, interests and what matters to you

  • Exploring career options and different routes into work

  • University, apprenticeships and entering employment

  • Building confidence in what you have to offer

  • CVs and applications

  • LinkedIn and your personal brand

  • Finding opportunities and building your network

  • Graduate schemes and early-career roles

  • Interview preparation and practice

  • Making decisions when you're not sure what comes next

Woman Giving Presentation

Nail It

For those big moments

You've got the opportunity. Now let's get you ready for it.

An interview shouldn't be the first time you try to explain why you're right for the job.

A big presentation in front of your boss shouldn't be the first time you're delivering the presentation.

A speaker opportunity in front of a huge audience.

Nail It is focused, practical preparation built around the actual opportunity you're applying for.

Before we meet, I'll ask you to send me the role information and anything you've submitted as part of your application.

Then we'll use our time to work on:

  • What the employer is really looking for

  • Your strongest examples and stories

  • How to structure your answers

  • Questions you're worried about

  • How to talk confidently about your experience

  • Difficult or unexpected questions

  • Your questions for them

  • Interview practice and feedback

  • How you want to show up on the day

You'll leave knowing what you want them to remember about you and having practised saying it.

These sessions are 90 minutes.
